How to make awesome car commercial? Just add some vintage stock cars and rods in it.

When my dad retired he thought he was going to buy a 911 Turbo. He's always wanted one and didn't care to look at anything else. I brought him to Audi to try an R8 V10...
He was sold on the engine note alone.

Because its MUCH slower than a 911 turbo even with a v10. Thats where it ends though, everything else, R8 all the way.. including ride, handling, smoothness etc.

I never even compared 0-60 times because they're not important to me. But yeah I can see how the 911 Turbo might have better stats in some areas. But like you said the R8 is still amazing. The sound, the looks, the magnetic dampers, etc. The package is just awesome.

It's a red 2014 spider. Unfortunately paddle, but it's the new dual clutch this year. And he had it tuned by Stasis for another 50 hp, exhaust, wheels and suspension upgrades
